
Automated External Defibrillation (AED) Course
Nearly 300,000 people die each year as a result of Cardiac Arrests, the majority of whom develop a life-threatening abnormal rhythm of the heart. An Automated External Defibrillator, operated by a trained user, can raise the chance of survival by 75%. Automated External Defibrillators are becoming more common, and can now be found at Airports, Shopping Centres and Sports Centres.
Who should attend?
Those who currently hold a valid First Aid at Work certificate and requiring training or refreshing in the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), or Medical professionals such as nurses or doctors who wish to refresh their skills.
We can deliver this course at your workplace or at our training venue.
