FIRE SAFETY AND EXTINGUISHER TRAINING
This short course (maximum 3 hours) has been designed to reduce the risk of fire through the promotion of basic fire safety for all staff.
Course content:
- Health and Safety Law
- Means of Escape and Fire Precautions
- Actions to be taken in the event of a fire
- Evacuation procedure
- Classification of Fire
- The Fire Triangle
- Extinguishers (theoretical plus practical use)
This course ends with a comprehensive practical extinguisher handling program with a "real" fire training exercise on a portable, environmentally friendly, propane fuelled fire simulator
