FIRE MARSHAL/WARDEN IN THE WORKPLACE COURSE
This Fire Marshal/Warden Training Course (maximum 3.5 hours) is designed to provide fire marshals/wardens with an understanding of the importance of fire safety and their duties so that they are able to act in a competent manner in the event of a fire.
Course content:
- Health and Safety Law
- Role of the Fire Marshal/Warden
- Means of Escape and Fire Precautions
- Actions to be taken in the event of a fire
- Evacuation Procedures
- Classification of Fire
- The Fire Triangle
- Extinguishers (theoretical plus practical use)
This course ends with a comprehensive practical extinguisher handling program with a "real" fire training exercise on a portable, environmentally friendly, propane fuelled fire simulator
