FIRE SAFETY AND EXTINGUISHER TRAINING

WHY TRAIN?

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires that basic fire safety training is carried out in the workplace.

WHO?

In order to minimise the risk of fire in the workplace, and provide the employees with the knowledge of what action to take in the event of a fire, all employees must receive some form of fire safety training.

At your workplace or via zoom

I am a qualified trainer and a specialist in fire safety, my courses are interactive and very informative plus I use a fire simulator for the live fire practical extinguisher section of the course

THE COURSE

This short course (maximum 3 hours) has been designed to reduce the risk of fire through the promotion of basic fire safety for all staff. This course meets the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (fire safety) Order 2005 for employee fire safety training.

The course ends with a hands on practical extinguisher section (with or without live fire), whichever is required by the client and based on a dynamic risk assessment, obviously if the course is via zoom/teams then the practical element is not completed.

This course is designed to reduce the risk of fire through the promotion of basic fire safety for all staff. and provide the staff with the knowledge of what action to take in the event of a fire inclusive of the safe use of extinguishers.

3. Actions to be taken in the event of a fire

4. Evacuation procedure

5. Classifications of Fire

6. The Fire Triangle

7. Extinguishers (theoretical plus practical use)
